Ettielier Font
We are so pleased to introduce Ettielier, a calligraphy typeface by Ettie Kim Studio. This high-powered, full-featured typeface comes with multilingual support and 500+ characters, including stylistic alternates and double-letter ligatures to achieve an authentic handwritten look that mimics Ettie Kim’s signature style.
Why a Font?
In an ideal world, everyone would have the budget to hire a calligrapher (and if you do, I highly recommend it!), but I also know from the many couples, fellow stationery designers, and small businesses that have inquired over the years that custom calligraphy is not in everyone’s budget. Many asked if I would ever consider creating a font out of my script. I don’t think a font can ever replace calligraphy created by hand, but Ettielier was crafted to come pretty dang close. If you are a Collection customer, all of the spot calligraphy on your invitations will continue to be created by hand. Ettielier is for those are looking for a more affordable way to incorporate my distinct calligraphy style into their wedding paper, branding, etc.

Standard License Overview
All fonts purchased on our website (ettiekim.com) come with our Standard License. Use this license for desktop, print, and flattened (rasterized) static images on website. If you require an Extended License (a separate license for use in apps, websites, e-publications, commercial servers, broadcasting, etc), please contact us directly at hello@ettiekim.com. All Ettie Kim Studio licenses are strictly enforced.
The following is an overview of our standard license. Please read the full Standard License Agreement before purchase.
With the standard license, you may:
Use 1 font license per 1 user (up to 2 devices maximum) for an unlimited number of personal projects & a limited number of commercial projects in accordance with the terms of this agreement. Contact hello@ettiekim.com for a multi-seat extension.
Use the font to make up to 100 unique designs (“impressions”) of physical or digital end products for sale (e.g., greeting cards, wedding invitations, mugs, etc), with a production limit of 400 pieces per unique design.
For instance, if you use our font in a mug design, you can sell up to 400 mugs with that unique design (“impression”) before needing a supplemental license.
Use the font for graphic design client work (including but not limited to packaging, logo design, invitations, etc) as long as files are flattened or outline the type before delivering the files to your client. If your client needs the font, they will need to purchase their own license.
Use the font on your website in the form of a static logo or image.
Use the font for book and magazine titles not reproduced in epub form. For epublications, contact hello@ettiekim.com for an Extended License.
You may not (without a separate/extended license):
Use or embed the font in any editable format in themes, softwares, templates, apps, or electronic documents which allow users to type with the font and generate their own personalized content, digital or physical.
This includes using the font on third party template services. You may not upload or otherwise provide access to the font to third party template services, including digital template services like Templett or Corjl. If you wish to use the fonts in designs uploaded to a template service, you must first contact hello@ettiekim.com for an extended license. You can create digital designs for your customers if you are working directly with the customer and no third party is involved, but please note that all characters in digital files must be rasterized or outlined and all designs are subject to the 100 impressions/400 piece production limit described in the full EULA.
Provide the font file(s) to clients unless you have secured a separate, additional license on their behalf.
Use the font as web fonts or embed them on webpages.
Resell, sublicense, share, transfer, or otherwise distribute the font, or any derivative of the font, not even for free.
Use the font to create letterform products (i.e. products including but not limited to individual alphabet stamps, A-Z posters, type specimen prints, etc) where font characters are reproduced individually. Word art is fine if the letters are not separable.
