Arizona Itinerary 2/2

Lee’s Ferry—

I am hesitant to share this spot because it was hands down the most serene part of our time in Arizona (and we’d like to keep it that way)! We dropped by Lee’s Ferry on our way to Page, from Flagstaff. It’s located in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and is the only way you can get down to the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon without a rafting trip.

On the way to Page, there were long stretches of empty road, so we took a few quick shots with our tripod (kids don’t try this at home!).

I’m wearing Everlane wide leg pants, Everlane jacket, Veja sneakers, and NEED ribbed top.

Horseshoe Bend—

A gorgeous, horse-shoe shaped bend of the Colorado River. We got up early to catch the sunrise and beat the crowds, but there were still quite a few people there. The area is large enough though that you can find a relatively quiet nook to enjoy the overlook. A very easy hike (if you can even call it that), but the trail is very sandy, so you’ll want to wear comfortable close-toed walking shoes (definitely no flip flops!).

Make sure to walk around and take in all of the different vantage points. Not many railings, so make sure you keep an eye on little ones.

Wearing a Brixton hat, Girlfriend Collective leggings, Barbour jacket, and Columbia boots.

Antelope Canyon—

It’s not every day you get to walk through one of your favorite Microsoft wallpapers. Antelope canyon is a stunning slot canyon on Navajo land. There are two sections, the Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon, both of which are accessible by guided tour only. I recommend reserving your tour as soon as you know which day you’ll be in Page because tours sell out fast and are timed.

We chose to book through Ken’s Tours and had a seamless experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and great at pointing out photo-ops as well as taking photos for the group!

I’m wearing Stelen linen pants, Everlane jacket, Madewell bandana, and Columbia boots.

Luke is wearing a vintage NY hat, Merrell shoes.

More random stops along our drive. All the Westworld vibes.

I’m wearing Stelen linen pants, Everlane jacket, Madewell bandana, and Tevas.
